Common questions

What business owners usually want to know before turning on payments.

Does my customer pay these fees?

Processing and platform fees are deducted from the payment before the remaining funds are paid out to your business. Whether you build those costs into your prices is your decision and may be subject to local card-surcharge rules.

Why does buy now, pay later cost more?

The provider takes on installment servicing and customer repayment risk. In exchange, your business generally receives the purchase amount up front, less fees.

When is ACH a good choice?

ACH can be especially cost effective for large invoices because its processor fee is capped at $5. Bank debits can take longer to confirm and can still be returned, so timing matters.

Are refunds free?

Refund handling depends on your Stripe account and payment method. In many cases the original processing fee is not returned. Check your Stripe Dashboard and current processor terms before issuing a refund.
